Hello, My name is Melissa and I am the owner and the inspiration behind Stylish Blooms. I grew up in, Central NY,  on a small farm surrounded by nature giving me a deep appreciate for all things living.   My interest in floral design started in 1996 when I had the opportunity to take vo-tech classes throughout my Jr & Sr year of high school. I instantly fell in love with floral design and continued my education at, SUNY Morrisville.  In 2000 I obtained my A.A.S degree in Floriculture and Business management.

Throughout the years I have worked in various flower shops in NY & CT learning all that I could about flowers and design. I love learning new techniques and honing my design skills so that I continue to provide the best to my clients.   I stay up to date on the latest floral trends and research the latest fashion trends. I love a challenge and no request is to big or to small.

The seed for Stylish Blooms was planted many years ago.  From the moment I started designing I dreamed of  owning my own  flower shop, after many years of watching the floral industry change,  I shifted my focus from opening a small flower shop to opening a floral studio that focused on specialty designs.  I wanted the opportunity to work closely with each of my clients and have the ability to focus my time and attention on their individual needs.  I launched Stylish Blooms in 2008,  with the ultimate goal of giving those planning a wedding or special event in New England a truly unique floral experience. From the first consultation to the day of the event I am always available to answer questions and to tend to every little detail.  I am passionate about what I do and committed 110% to each of my clients needs.  My number one goal is to make sure the flowers and decor I provide for my clients exceeds even the highest of expectations.
